Built by the Community.

Runcorn Town — Team Celebration

Runcorn Town FC has been part of the fabric of this town since 1967. From our roots as a works team on the factory floor to league champions in 2026 — this club has always punched above its weight.

Founded as CKD, a works team born from the Castner Kellner plant, Runcorn Town are proud to be the oldest football club in Runcorn. Through name changes, league promotions, heartbreaking relegations, and a pandemic, one thing has remained constant: we are Runcorn's football club.

Season 2025/26 was our best in years. League champions. Champions Cup. Edward Chase Cup. The Treble. A squad that gave everything — and a community that got behind them. Now we're ready to build on it. And we want local businesses to be part of the journey.

From grassroots to the first team — our youth setup runs all the way up to Under-19s. This season 4 academy players made their first team debut, with over 50 players coming through our reserves, development and youth teams over the years. Homegrown, local, and proud of it.
